How to Add Your Tracking Code
To be able to display timers, track, and redirect leads, you must add the Deadline Funnel tracking code to the header of your page.
You can find the tracking code in the top menu inside your Deadline Funnel account:
Copy the tracking code:
You should now paste the tracking code to the <header> tag on the pages that you have added to your Deadline Funnel campaign.
Where you can add the tracking code depends on which platform you are using. Please feel free to search our documentation to find the instructions for your specific platform.
How to Add a Floating Bar to Your Page
With the tracking code on your page, all you need to do is add the page URL to your Deadline Funnel campaign.
1. Add a New Page
Open the Pages tab in your campaign editor, and click on Add New Page:
2. Add Your Page URL
Insert your page URL in the field at the top. This is the page where the floating bar will show up. Make sure that you copy the page URL directly from the live site, and not from your admin panel:
Add a CTA text and a direct link to your checkout page in the CTA URL field. You can also disable the CTA button by toggling off the setting.
3. Add Your Redirect Page
The redirect URL is the page your leads will be redirected to when their deadline expires:
Click Save when you are done.
That's it!
You should now be able to see the floating bar on your page.
How to Add an Inline Timer to Your Page
Once you have added the Deadline Funnel tracking code to the header of your page, you can create the Inline timer in your campaign.
1. Add New Page
Open your campaign editor, and click on Add New Page:
2. Select Inline Timer
When you are adding the new page, click on Floating bar (New) and change it to Inline timer:
3. Copy The Inline Timer Code
When you have selected the Inline timer, you will be able to copy the Inline timer HTML code.
You should paste this code into your website wherever you want to display the inline timer. The code is usually pasted into an HTML block on most website platforms:
Click Save when you are done.
If you need to find the Inline timer code in the future, you can click on Edit Settings below the timer:
How to Add a Dynamic Text Timer to Your Page
1. Add New Page
Open your campaign editor, and click on Add New Page:
2. Select Dynamic Text
When you are adding the new page, click on Floating bar (New) and change it to Inline timer:
3. Copy the Dynamic Text Code
When you have selected the Dynamic text timer, you will be able to copy the HTML code.
You should paste this code into your website wherever you want to display the dynamic text timer. The code is usually pasted into an HTML block on most website platforms:
Click Save when you are done.
If you need to find the dynamic text timer code in the future, you can click on Edit Settings below the timer:
