Ontraport's new email editor OntraMail does not support Deadline Funnel email timers. The only supported method is to use the Deadline Funnel animated email countdown timer using the legacy Ontraport RAW HTML email editor.

Add the Email Countdown in the RAW HTML Editor
1. In the Deadline Funnel admin, navigate to Campaigns > Edit Campaign > Emails > Email Timer Code and click to copy the HTML Code you'll need to add the email countdown to your emails:
Important Note:
If you are adding the Email Timer to multiple emails in your campaign, it is important that you copy a fresh code for each email that you’re adding it to.
Each time you copy the code, DF generates a new, slightly different code. So, for example, if you are using the timer in two different emails, you would click to copy the code and add it to the first email, then come back to Deadline Funnel, click to copy the code a second time, and paste that new code into your second email.
This helps to ensure that your subscribers always see an update deadline timer in their emails. |
2. In the Ontraport HTML Email editor, click 'Source' to edit your raw HTML:
3. Copy and paste the Deadline Funnel HTML Code into the Ontraport Source box where you want the animated countdown to appear and click 'Save':
4. Click 'Preview' to see a preview of your email with the animated countdown timer:
