1. In the Deadline Funnel admin, navigate to Edit Campaign > Emails > Email Timer Code and click the the Image URL to copy it:
Important Note:
If you are adding the Email Timer to multiple emails in your campaign, it is important that you copy a fresh code for each email that you’re adding it to.
Each time you copy the code, DF generates a new, slightly different code. So, for example, if you are using the timer in two different emails, you would click to copy the code and add it to the first email, then come back to Deadline Funnel, click to copy the code a second time, and paste that new code into your second email.
This helps to ensure that your subscribers always see an update deadline timer in their emails. |
2. In your ConstantContact email select the 'Image' block in the left-hand menu and drag it to the spot in your email where you would like to display the timer:
3. Double click on the 'Image' block to open the editor and then paste the Image URL you copied from Deadline Funnel in the URL box, then click 'Insert':
4. Now your email timer will be displayed in your email:
You can finish editing the email and then hit 'Continue' to save it.
Note: Sometimes we hear from clients that when they're testing Deadline Funnel's countdown image the time in their test email doesn't match the actual time they expected to see.
