How to Add an Email Timer to MailerLite
1. In the Deadline Funnel admin, navigate to Edit Campaign > Emails > Email Timer Code and click the HTML Code to copy it:
Important Note:
If you are adding the Email Timer to multiple emails in your campaign, it is important that you copy a fresh code for each email that you’re adding it to.
Each time you copy the code, DF generates a new, slightly different code. So, for example, if you are using the timer in two different emails, you would click to copy the code and add it to the first email, then come back to Deadline Funnel, click to copy the code a second time, and paste that new code into your second email.
This helps to ensure that your subscribers always see an update deadline timer in their emails. |
Note: If you use the Rich text editor in MailerLite, please scroll down to point 5.
2. In your MailerLite Email Editor, add a 'code' block to your email where you want the animated countdown timer to appear:
3. Click on the code block and then paste your Deadline Funnel Email Timer code in editor and then click Save:
3.1. If you use the Rich text editor in MailerLite, you can add the timer by clicking in the text field and choosing "HTML" in the menu:
4. Click Preview and test, and Send a test email.
MailerLite now sends a test email to your inbox, where we can preview the Email timer.
That's it! When your email is sent to your subscribers, each subscriber will see their own unique deadline in this timer.
