Intro

In this guide, we'll show you how to integrate Deadline Funnel with Drip and use our email links in your Drip emails.

Integrate Deadline Funnel with Drip

1. Copy Your Webhook

Go to the Emails tab in your Deadline Funnel campaign, and copy the webhook:

2. Open Your Drip Workflow

Open your Drip Workflow and click on the plus icon where you want to add the webhook:

3. Add Your Webhook

Select Send an HTTP post, and then paste your webhook into the Endpoint URL field:

Click on Update Action when you are done.

The integration is now complete. Any time a user goes through the webhook in your Drip Workflow, they will be automatically added to your Deadline Funnel campaign, and Deadline Funnel will create a unique deadline for that lead for your special offer.

Add Deadline Funnel Email Links to Your Drip Emails

Deadline Funnel email links are very important to use in your emails wherever you are linking to your special offer (i.e. sales page or checkout page) that subscribers will only be able to access before the deadline.

Deadline Funnel email links pass the subscriber's email address through the link so Deadline Funnel can look up the subscriber's deadline based on their email address and redirect them to your special offer page (or to the expired page if their deadline is expired).

1. Copy the Email Link

Navigate to the relevant campaign in your account and then click into the 'Emails' tab in the left-hand menu.

Select the correct Page URL and click on the Email Link to copy it so you can use it in your Drip email and automatically include the subscriber's email address in your link for tracking purposes:

2. Choose Where to Add Your Email Link

In your Drip email, highlight the text that you want to link to your sales page and then click the link icon:

3. Insert the Email Link

Paste your Deadline Funnel Email Link URL into the Web Address field and then press Insert:

Your email link now appears in your email and will track your subscribers who click that link and take them to your campaign page.

Test Your Campaign

Once you've set up your integration, make sure to do a quick test to make sure all the pieces are connecting properly. You should first visit your page to make sure that the floating bar can be seen. After that, you should opt-in to the workflow, to make sure that the integration is working.

1. Clear Your Tracking

Open your campaign, go to the testing tab, and click on Clear My Tracking:

2. Enter Your Email Address

Enter the email address that you want to use for this test:

You can now see that Deadline Funnel is waiting for our test user to go through the webhook in your Drip Workflow:

3. Add Your Test User to Drip

You should now opt-in to the Drip Workflow, so that your test user goes through the webhook. In our example, the user is added to the Drip workflow when they enter a specific segment. You can create the user and segment from the People tab in Drip:

4. Confirm Your Test User

Once you have opted in to your Drip workflow, you should be able to see the user in your Deadline Funnel campaign (it might take a few minutes, so make sure to wait and refresh the page):

If you can see that the event was received, it means that your integration is working!
