In this doc, we'll show you how to add a countdown timer to ActiveCampaign Landing pages. There are a few additional steps to complete after that -

Getting Started

In this guide, we'll show you how to integrate Deadline Funnel with your ActiveCampaign Landing Page.

This process involves 3 steps:

Deadline Funnel default behavior

The default behavior in Deadline Funnel is to always show a deadline on the page.

  • If the visitor has already been tracked by Deadline Funnel, then we'll show their existing deadline.

  • If they haven't been tracked yet, Deadline Funnel will start tracking them via their IP address/cookie, and display a new deadline for that user.

Create your Deadline Funnel campaign

You will need to create your first campaign before you can set up the timer on your ActiveCampaign page(s).

Once you've created your Deadline Funnel campaign, you can follow the steps below to integrate with your ActiveCampaign page(s).

Adding Your Tracking Code to ActiveCampaign

1. To add any kind of timer to an ActiveCampaign page, start by clicking on the 'Tracking Code' tab in the top menu of Deadline Funnel and hit Copy:

2. Next, in your ActiveCampaign page editor, grab an HMTL block from the right hand menu and place it at the top of your page:

3. Click on the HTML block and paste the Tracking Code in the box on the right, and hit the check mark save:

4. Click 'Publish Page' at the top:

Now you're ready to add a Floating Bar, Inline timer, or Portal to your page.

How to Add a Floating Bar Countdown Timer:

1. Go to Deadline Funnel and navigate to Edit Campaign > Pages, then 1) add the published URL, 2) select 'Display Floating Bar', 3) add a redirect URL, and 4) click 'Save':

2. When you refresh your published page, you will now see your floating bar timer:

How to Add an Inline Timer:

If you are using the Inline Countdown type, you must complete the steps outlined above, as well as these additional steps:

1. Navigate to Edit Campaign > Pages and add your landing page URL, select 'Display Inline timer', copy the HTML snippet needed to add your countdown timer to your page, then click 'Save':

2. Back in ActiveCampaign, grab an HTML block, add it the section where you want the timer to appear, and paste the Inline Code Snppet in the box on the right hand, then hit the check mark to save:

3. Click 'Publish Page' at the top and open up your page:

And that's it! Your inline countdown will now appear on your page.

How to Add Portal:

1. Go to Deadline Funnel and navigate to Edit Campaign > Pages, then 1) add the published URL, 2) select 'Display Portal', 3) add a redirect URL, and 4) click 'Save':

2. When you refresh your published page, you will now see your Portal displayed in the bottom corner of page. Here's an example of what it will look like:
