When a client's deadline has expired but you'd like to give them a second chance at your offer, you can send them a Public Reset Link and they will be able to access your offer again. π
How to Create a Public Reset Link
Open your Deadline Funnel campaign editor where you want to give the subscriber a second chance.
Head to the Testing section and then to "Public Reset Link".
Enter the subscriber's email address and the destination URL, then click Generate.
Copy the link and send it to your customer:
New links expire after 72 hours by default. You can manually adjust the expiration date and time by clicking the date next to the generated link.
β
When generating a public reset link, you need to enter a subscriber's email the first time. However, the generated link includes an em
parameter, allowing you to modify the email directly in the URL instead of creating a new link for each subscriber.
β
In the example above, our public reset link looks like this: https://deadlinefunnel.com/reset/242314/N0xnmBpVrD?em=anton@deadlinefunnel.com
β
To use it for another subscriber, simply replace the email address at the end: https://deadlinefunnel.com/reset/242314/N0xnmBpVrD?em=daniel@example.com
Please note:
The intention behind this feature is to give you and your team a way to help your end users reset their tracking on a case-by-case basis. This feature is not intended for use in an automation as a way to delete or reset tracking as part of your sequence.
β
If you want to automatically reset users' tracking, you can use our Tracking Lifetime feature.
