Zapier gives you the ability to use triggers to create different workflows which can make your business run more smoothly.

For this example, we will setup a trigger between Kajabi and Deadline Funnel, so that a custom event is created when someone buys a Kajabi offer. You can use any email service provider you choose, as long as they integrate with Zapier.

Note: Make sure that you have already integrated your Zapier account with Deadline Funnel and your email service provider (ESP), and that you are logged into your Zapier account before you begin.

Setup the Custom Event trigger with your ESP:

In your Zapier dashboard, select 'Make a Zap' and select your Email Service Provider (We used Kajabi) as the Trigger App:

Choose 'New Purchase' and click 'Continue':

If your Kajabi account is already connected, go ahead and select it here and click 'Continue':

If you haven't connected your Kajabi account to Zapier yet, click 'Add New Account' and follow Zapier's instructions to connect the two, then click 'Continue'.

Next, select your Kajabi site and the offer you want to use to trigger the deadline when purchased, then click 'Continue':

Make sure you have at least one sale for this offer so that there is data to fetch, then click 'Test Trigger':

Once you see a successful test message, click 'Continue':

Now select Deadline Funnel for your Action App and then select 'Create Custom Event' and click 'Continue':

Select your Deadline Funnel account and click 'Continue':

Choose the custom event that you created in Converthub, select the email address and first name fields and click 'Continue':

Click 'Test & Continue' to run a quick test:

Once the test is successful, it will prompt you to turn your Zap on:

Then you can click 'Done Editing' at the bottom, and you're all set.

🚀 Test your custom event integration

You can follow this guide to test your Zapier integration:
