In this doc, we'll show you How to Add a Dynamic Date and Time to a MailerLite Email. There are a few additional steps to complete as well -

If you want to add an animated countdown timer into your MailerLite email you can follow the instructions here: How to Add Email Countdown Code to MailerLite.

Note: You need to integrate your Deadline Funnel campaign with MailerLite before you can use the custom field.

How to Use Your Custom Field in Your Email

Important Note: There can be a delay between when the webhook triggers the deadline for a contact and when the contact's custom field gets populated with their deadline. Because of this, we recommend that you don't use the custom field in your emails until at least one day after the deadline is initially triggered.

1. In your email editor, place the cursor where you want to add the dynamic date and time and click 'Variable':

2. In the 'Variable' popup, scroll down and select your custom field:

3. This will insert your custom field placeholder into your email:

4. If you are being tracked for this campaign and send yourself an email you will see that the placeholder has been replaced with the deadline text format you chose in your setup.

NOTE : You must send the actual email, the placeholder will not be replaced in a test message. You can send the email to yourself to test the delivery.
