Intro

In this guide, we'll show you how to integrate Deadline Funnel with ActiveCampaign and use our email links in your ActiveCampaign emails.

Integrate Deadline Funnel with Your ActiveCampaign Automation

In the example below, we will set up an automation in ActiveCampaign that sends the webhook to trigger the Deadline Funnel tracking.

As soon as a contact reaches that part of the automation, their unique deadline will begin in Deadline Funnel.

1. Copy the Webhook

First, open the Emails tab in your campaign editor and copy your webhook:

2. Create the Webhook Module

In ActiveCampaign, click the plus icon at the point in your automation where you want the deadline to begin:

When you click the plus icon, a window will pop up. Select Workflow, scroll down, and click on Webhook.

3. Add the Webhook

Paste the webhook URL from Deadline Funnel into the text box and press Save.

Now you're all set.

When each contact reaches the webhook in your automation, their deadline will begin.

Add Deadline Funnel Email Links To Your Emails

Email links are very important for tracking a lead's email address in your campaign. This is how you should use your Deadline Funnel email links.

1. Copy the Email Link

Open your campaign in Deadline Funnel and head to the Emails section in the left menu.

Deadline Funnel will create a unique email link for each page that you add to your campaign. Make sure to select the correct email link for the page you want to link to, then copy that email link so you can use it in your ActiveCampaign email:

2. Add the Email Link To Your Email

In your ActiveCampaign email, if you're using a CTA button, click the button and add the Deadline Funnel email link to the 'Link' box in the settings on the right:

If you want to hyperlink text, highlight the text that you want to link to your sales page and then click the link button:

Now paste your Deadline Funnel Email Link URL into the link box and then click Save:

Your email link will now track your subscribers who click that link and take them to your campaign page if their deadline is still active. If their deadline has expired, they will go directly to the after-deadline page.

Test Your Campaign

In this section, we'll go through how you can test your integration to see if everything is working correctly.

1. Clear Your Tracking

Go to the Testing tab in your campaign editor and click on Clear My Tracking:

Another page will show up, where you should click Clear My Tracking again. This will clear only your tracking data.

2. Enter Your Email Address

Enter the email address that you want to use for this test:

You can now see that Deadline Funnel is waiting for our test user to go through the webhook in ActiveCampaign:

3. Add Your Contact in ActiveCampaign

Go to ActiveCampaign ➔ Contacts ➔ Add Contacts:

Fill out the information for your test user. Use the email address you wrote in Deadline Funnel in step 2. When you are done, click Add:

Under Add to automations, you should select the automation that this campaign is for. Once you've selected the correct automation, click Apply:

4. Verify That the Event Was Received

Open Deadline Funnel, and now you should be able to see that your user has been added to the campaign:

If you can see that the event was received, it means that your integration is working!
