Getting Started

In this guide, we'll show you how to add a Deadline Funnel timer to your HighLevel page.

This process involves 3 steps:

Deadline Funnel default behavior

The default behavior in Deadline Funnel is to always show a deadline on the page.

  • If the visitor has already been tracked by Deadline Funnel, then we'll show their existing deadline.

  • If they haven't been tracked yet, Deadline Funnel will start tracking them via their IP address/cookie, and display a new deadline for that user.

Create your Deadline Funnel campaign

You will need to create your first campaign before you can add your timer to a HighLevel page.

Once you've created your Deadline Funnel campaign, you can follow the steps below to integrate with HighLevel.

We're here to help!

Adding Your Tracking Code to HighLevel

1. To add any kind of timer to a HighLevel page, start by clicking on the 'Tracking Code' tab in the top menu of Deadline Funnel and hit Copy:

โ€‹2. โ€‹Open HighLevel and navigate to the Settings section of your website. Paste the Deadline Funnel tracking code that you just copied into the Body tracking code field and make sure to click Save:

Important note: You will only need to add the Deadline Funnel tracking code in this box one time. Once it's added, it will be applied to all pages in your HighLevel website. However, this won't mean the deadline is active on all pages. Only pages that are added to Edit Campaign > Pages in your Deadline Funnel campaign will be connected to that deadline.

Now you're ready to add a Floating Bar, Inline timer, or Portal to your page.

How to add a Floating Bar Timer

1. After you've added the tracking code to your page (and if you haven't yet, start here), you're ready to add the timer. Return to your HighLevel page and click the link to view it so you can get the correct URL to add in Deadline Funnel:

2. Return to Deadline Funnel > Edit Campaign > Pages and click 'Add New Page'. Paste the URL of your page into the first box, add a redirect URL for after the deadline expires, and hit 'Save':

3. Now refresh your HighLevel page, and you should see the Floating Bar. Here's an example of what it will look like:

How to add an Inline Timer

Paste the URL of your page into the first box, add a redirect URL for after the deadline expires, select 'Display Inline Timer', copy the code snippet we provide, and hit 'Save':

3. Open your HighLevel page in the editor and then add a Custom HTML/Javascript block where you want the inline timer to appear:

4. Open the Code Editor window, paste your Deadline Funnel code snippet into the block, and then click Save:

And that's it! Your inline countdown will now appear on your landing page.

How to add Portal

Paste the URL of your page into the first box, make sure to choose "Display Portal", add a redirect URL for after the deadline expires, and hit 'Save':

3. Now refresh your HighLevel page, and you should see Portal.
