In this guide, we'll show you how to integrate Deadline Funnel and ClickFunnels.

This process involves 3 steps:

If you're using the ClickFunnels plugin on a WordPress site, this note is for you.

Note: This doc is for ClickFunnels Classic. If you need support for ClickFunnels 2.0, go to this guide.

You will need to create your first campaign before you can set up the integration with ClickFunnels.

Once you've created your Deadline Funnel campaign, you can follow the steps below to integrate with ClickFunnels.

1. To add any kind of timer to a ClickFunnel's page, start by clicking on the 'Tracking Code' tab in the top menu of Deadline Funnel and hit Copy:

​2. Next, go to your ClickFunnels account and select 'Settings' for the page you want to edit:

​3. Paste your Deadline Funnel tracking code into the 'Head Tracking Code' box, scroll down and click 'Save and Update Settings':

Now you're ready to add a Floating Bar, Inline timer, or Portal to your page.

1. After you've added the tracking code to your page (and if you haven't yet, start here), you're ready to add the timer. Return to your ClickFunnel's page and click the link to view it so you can get the correct URL to add in Deadline Funnel:

2. Now, this is very important: Make sure you copy the URL from the address bar when you are actually viewing the published page:

ClickFunnels URLs do not always display correctly inside of ClickFunnels, and it's important that the URL of the page and the URL listed in the Pages section of Deadline Funnel are an exact match. So you must open the page, wait for it to load, and copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.

3. Back in Deadline Funnel, navigate to 'Pages' in your Deadline Funnel admin. Click 'Add new page' and add the URL of your WordPress page, select 'Display Floating Bar', add the URL where you want the page to redirect when the deadline expires, then click 'Save':

4. Once you hit save, the countdown will appear on your page. Here's an example of what the Floating Bar looks like:

Note: Your countdown timer will not show up automatically in Preview Mode, but it will show up on your published page.

Troubleshooting: If you're definitely not in Preview Mode and you don't see the timer appear on the page, please check to make sure the URL of the page and the URL listed in the Edit Campaign > Pages section is an exact match. ClickFunnels pages tend to redirect to a different URL than the one you may have originally expected. You can ensure the URLs are an exact match by opening up your ClickFunnels page, waiting for it to load, and then copying the URL from the address bar; this URL is the one that needs to be listed in the Pages section.

3. Back in Deadline Funnel, navigate to Edit Campaign > Pages to add a new page then add your ShowIt page URL, select 'Display Inline Timer', add your redirect URL (optional), copy the HTML Code you need to display your timer inline, and click 'Save':

4. Navigate back to ClickFunnels and click 'Edit Page' under your sales page.

5. Wherever you want to display the countdown timer, click the Plus icon to add a new element.

6. Select Custom JS/HTML.

7. Click on the orange Custom JS/HTML box to edit that element.

8. Select 'Open Code Editor'.

9. Paste the code you copied for the Inline Timer here.

10. Don't forget to hit Save! :)

Note: Your Countdown timer will not show up automatically in Preview mode, but it will show up on your published page:

3. Back in Deadline Funnel, navigate to Campaigns > Edit Campaign > Pages and add your ShowIt page URL, select 'Display Portal', add your redirect URL, and click 'Save':

4. Hit 'Save' and refresh your ClickFunnels page to see Portal on your page.

Note: Portal will not show up automatically in Preview Mode, but it will show up on your published page.

If you're publishing a ClickFunnels page that has Deadline Funnel tracking code on it to your WordPress site using the ClickFunnels plugin, you need to choose the "Download & Display" setting for "Page Display Method" in the ClickFunnels plugin settings:
