Open the Emails tab on the left side of your campaign editor, and copy the webhook:
2. Open Your HubSpot Workflow
Go to your HubSpot workflow, and click on the plus sign:
3. Send a Webhook
In the window, search for "webhook" and add Send a webhook to your workflow:
4. Configure the Webhook
Click on your webhook and choose Method: POST. Below, where it says "Webhook URL", you can paste the webhook that you copied from Deadline Funnel in step 1:
When you are done, click Save.
That's it! You have now integrated Deadline Funnel with HubSpot.
Any time a lead goes through the webhook, they will be automatically added to your Deadline Funnel campaign and receive a deadline.
Add Deadline Funnel Email Links to Your Emails
Deadline Funnel email links are very important to use in your emails wherever you are linking to your special offer (i.e. sales page or checkout page) that subscribers will only be able to access before the deadline.
Deadline Funnel email links pass the subscriber's email address through the link so Deadline Funnel can look up the subscriber's deadline based on their email address and redirect them to your special offer page (or to the expired page if their deadline is expired).
How to Find Your Email Links
When you add a new page to your Deadline Funnel campaign, an email link is automatically generated for that specific page.
You can find your email links by going to the Emails tab on the left side of your campaign editor:
How to Add an Email Timer to HubSpot
This is how you can add an email timer to your HubSpot emails.
1. Copy the Email Timer URL
Open the Emails tab on the left side of your campaign editor, and copy the email timer image URL:
2. Open Templates
Go to HubSpot → Conversations → Templates:
Click the New Template button:
3. Insert Image
Add your email copy and then place the cursor where you want the timer to appear. Now, click on the Insert image button:
4. Paste the Email Timer URL
Select From URL when clicking on Add Image, and then paste the Image URL into the Image URL box and hit Preview.
Once you see the timer preview, click "Insert image":
You should now see the timer in your email template.
Test Your Campaign
Once you've set up your integration, make sure to do a quick test to make sure all the pieces are connecting properly. You should first visit your page to make sure that the floating bar can be seen.
After that, you should opt-in to the workflow, to make sure that the integration is working.
1. Clear Your Tracking
Open the Test Your Campaign tab inside your campaign editor, and click on Clear My Tracking:
2. Enter Your Email Address
Enter the email address that you want to use for this test:
You can now see that Deadline Funnel is waiting for our test user to go through the webhook in your HubSpot automation:
3. Add Your Test User to HubSpot
You should now opt in to your HubSpot automation so that your test user goes through the webhook.
The webhook is the triggering event for adding your test user to the funnel.
4. Confirm Your Test User
Once you have opted in to your HubSpot automation, you should be able to see the user in your Deadline Funnel campaign (it might take a few minutes, so make sure to wait and refresh the page):
If you can see that the event was received, it means that your integration is working!
