Intro

This is how you can add a dynamic date and time to your AWeber emails.

Note that this is different from the regular email timer that you can add to your AWeber emails.

How to Use Your Custom Field in Your AWeber Email

Important Note: There can be a delay between when the webhook triggers the deadline for a contact and when the contact's custom field gets populated with their deadline. Because of this, we recommend that you don't use the custom field in your emails until at least one day after the deadline is initially triggered.

1. Select Your Custom Field

Open the Emails tab on the left side of your campaign editor. After you have selected the list name at the top of the page, you will be able to select the Custom field:

2. Open Your Email in AWeber

In your email editor, place the cursor where you want to add the dynamic date and time and click Personalize:

3. Select Custom Field

In the Add a personalization box, scroll down and select your custom field:

This will insert your custom field placeholder into your email:

If you are being tracked for this campaign and send yourself an email you will see that the placeholder has been replaced with the deadline text format you chose in your setup.
