1. Create your Deadline Funnel campaign
First things first - you will need to create a campaign in Deadline Funnel before you can set up the integration with Klaviyo.
When creating your campaign, we recommend selecting the blueprints option and then choosing the "Email Sequence + Special Offer" blueprint:
Then you'll set the deadline length and add the URL(s) for your first page(s). Don't worry too much about those two items - you can change those at any time.
Once you've created your Deadline Funnel campaign, you will be taken to the Quick Start Guide, which is a step by step guide for how to set up your campaign.

2. Integrating Deadline Funnel with your Klaviyo emails
After you've created your Deadline Funnel campaign, you'll need to set up the integration between Deadline Funnel, Zapier, and Klaviyo (This doc uses Kajabi as an example but the basic steps are the same)
This integration determines where you start each subscriber's Deadline Funnel tracking as they are going through your automation. This a key step when you're using the deadline in your Klaviyo emails, as it's what allows us to track each subscriber's email address, which in turn allows us to keep their deadline synced up with your email sequence.
Our article covers how you can trigger it based on when a new subscriber is added to your list, but with Klaviyo you can only use a 'New Event' trigger. This means that you need to set up a filter step in your Zap that only allows the Zap to start the deadline if the New Event in Klaviyo meets specific conditions.
So, for example, if you want to trigger the deadline based on when a contact subscribes to a specific form, you would set a filter that only allows the Zap to continue if the subscriber joined your list using that specific form:
Or, if you want to trigger the deadline based on when a specific email is sent to a subscriber, you would create a filter to check for the new event being 'Received Email' and the Event Properties would have text that matches exactly with the subject of your email:
3. Add Deadline Funnel email links to your automation
The second critical part for Deadline Funnel tracking is to add Deadline Funnel email links to the emails in your automation, wherever you're linking to a page that has a Deadline Funnel timer on it, or any page you have set up to redirect after the deadline expires.
Please note that you cannot integrate Deadline Funnel + Klaviyo correctly unless you add the DF links to your emails!
